They ended up moving to New Orleans and we got to do their maternity photos, new born photos, and now their 2022 holiday photos with the gorgeous twins, Stone and Braulio and the sweetest dog “blue”. 💙
We absolutely love working with them, they are so thoughtful and sweet! Their condo made a gorgeous backdrop for they holiday portraits this year!
We are finally using off camera flash for some of our low light indoor session and starting to become huge fans of the flash but no flash look!

New Orleans Streetcar Photo Shoot | Christmas In New Orleans
🌲♥️ The Leblanc’s Holiday Portraits ♥️🌲
Taylor, Tai, and Tanner booked with us in August for Tanner’s one year portraits and decided to book with us for their first holiday portrait session! During this shoot it was so cold and windy but we still powered through!! Sometimes you gotta work with what you got! Nevertheless the photos came out perfect! 🥰✨
Taylor wanted a holiday scene so we went with the canal streetcar as the location. Unlucky for us, we shot one week too early and missed the streetcar being decorated with a holiday wreath,(they do it the weekend after Thanksgiving) but their photos still are Christmas card perfect! The plus was that Tanner wore the holiday patterned dress which added to the holiday feel! ✨
They are such a gorgeous family right?! 🥰
Luxury Holiday Maternity Photos | Magnolia Greenhouse
Nyla's maternity session is literally GORGEOUS right?!
We've already worked with Nyla for her daughter Kaia six month and first year photos but never actually photographed her family. What I love about maternity sessions with the whole family is how the session can be broken up into a mommy and me, dad and me, couple portraits, family portraits, and solo portraits! That's how I break all of our family shoots down! :) Nyla let me know that she's big on neutrals after I suggested a fall themed color pallet to her and neutrals fit right on in that color palette :)! Of course we texted back and forth about attire and decided to go with the burnt orange suit for Raheem and a cream dress for Kaia.
I recommended a few seamstress to Nyla and she went with @1990by_sclaxton who've we've worked with multiple times before! I absolutely LOVE what she was able to do with Nyla's maternity dress! Nyla gave her full creative control and she made her a gorgeous, gorgeous maternity dress! We originally had two other location options but I had been waiting for the right client (as in someone who would let us have full creative control over the session) to inquire and be willing to commute to the Magnolia Greenhouse. Nyla let me know she was okay with paying the permit fee, commuting to the location, and releasing creative control. Travel is 0.50 cents per mile so this location is $105 for us to travel to. This green house is amazing for my style of work, very lightand airy vibes with pops of color! WIN WIN !

We had SOOOO much fun doing Logan’s senior portraits session!! The energy was just perfect with @beyonce music playing during the session to top it all off(that’s her favorite artist). 🤗
Logan booked her November senior portrait session wayyy in May and that’s when I knew she was dedicated to having the best photos possible from her session. Logan used the five months in between to prepare all of her outfits and details and it shows! Once everything was sorted out for Logan she sent it to me and I picked the best locations for each outfit! We also paired props with outfits & locations depending on what we thought looked best. ✨

Picking her path in nursing was a personal choice! Being a black woman from Louisiana, where the maternal death rate for black mothers and babies ranks 47th out of 48 states Logan wants and will make a difference in black mothers experience!! GO LOGAN!! WE are rooting for you!! 🥰♥️

Ayanna & Eric’s French Quarter Anniversary Photo Shoot ⚜️🖤
This was their very first time taking photos as a couple, they’ve always done family photos with their kids so we were happy to make this such a fun and loving experience for them! :)
Ayanna wanted to use New Orleans, French Quarter as her location because of the architecture, colors, and overall vibe! She wanted something “SO New Orleans”! 😉
They planned to wear all black so we started inside of the courtyard @cafeamelie which was such a nice upscale location. We actually never shot in there because they were always closed! This day the gates were open and so was my aperture! 😛😂
After getting most of their shots in Cafe Amelie for more of a themed session, we walked a few blocks and stopped at one of my favorite purple houses to get some more photos. The all black against the purple was one of my favorite looks.
We then went a little up the street and used one of my favorite nude backgrounds in the French Quarter which is PERFECT for fall photoshoots✨

Wilfred and Dakota New Orleans Engagement Shoot| Henry Howard Hotel
🖤🤍Wilfred & Dakota’s Modern Engagement Session 🖤🤍
For this engagement session it was really important that their photos heavily complimented their wedding theme which was modern with black and white colors only. Their guest had to wear all black while the bride and groom would be the only ones in another color!
Since the couple went with all black attire for their engagement photos we figured the @henryhowardhotel would be the best location to tie things all together. The Henry Howard hotel has a lot of white on the property which makes black attire stand out beautifully. Also, they only require that you book a room to photograph on their property as a guest! Dakota & Wilfred actually gifted us with the room after the session was done since they didn’t plan to use it! How sweet & thoughtful of them 🥰
We have literally been working with these two from the very beginning. A few years ago when I worked at @kayjewelers. Wilfred and I picked out the perfect ring for Dakota and ordered it in her preferred ring color, rose gold. We then planned a proposal which would be disguised as family portraits! Dakota literally had no idea once Wilfred dropped down to one knee in city park, New Orleans on the Langles Bridge! It was a beautiful moment for them! ✨
Since then we’ve done their family portraits, senior portraits, mommy & me sessions, and got booked for their wedding after they already booked elsewhere because we originally didn’t have the availability. Aja emailed me her dress and suggested @theseraphimhouse as the location which is perfect for her lace dress. We only had to coordinate her husband and babies attire with her + the venue(your outfit can match the venue to pull out details ). Once the location and attire is in sync all we do is show up and bring it all to life. 🥰

We went with a before sunset session which is great for kids especially kids who can’t stand heat. The before sunset photo sessions has soft, pretty light, that’ll give your photos a dreamy look. ✨
His mom(Paige) sent a photo of his outfit options and we went with the one pictured, so cute!! She also brought his ship prop, naked cake, and cake topper! We only provided the wooden cake stand for these.

When Mari first contacted us she was very detailed in her inquiry letting us know exactly what she wanted. We knew the location, attire preference, and possible props. Their outfit colors are sage, dark brown, and nude which I thought was cute and different than what we normally document. The color pallet worked out extremely well in the yard especially once we added the bench.
This was our first time traveling over two hours for backyard family portraits. I was excited that people want to work with us all over Louisiana! We enjoyed doing their session, everyone was cooperative, timely, and fun!!

We literally showed up with just our camera because Claudia, Omoura’s mom brought in a bunch of beach themed props, she really came READY!! Trusting our ability to create with the props that you bring is a part of what we need to get the job done! I was so happy with how much Claudia invested into her baby’s first birthday photos!
